In this section, words like ‘holder’, ‘bearer’, and ‘purchaser’ refer to you – the person purchasing the tickets. ‘Our’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘issuer’, ‘provider’ and similar terms indicate the organisers of the event – The Modern Electrologist Co.

By purchasing, holding, or attending with a ticket to The Modern Electrologist Co event Celebrating 150 Years of Electrolysis (the “Event”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase tickets or attempt to attend the Event.

We reserve the right to make changes, revisions, or amendments to these terms at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be reflected on our social media channels and communicated to the purchasers of tickets immediately. These changes will apply from the date of your ticket purchase.

Tickets & Entry

• The price of a ticket is £60 and is non-negotiable.

• Your ticket represents a revocable license for you to access the Sun Goddess, 9Station Parade, High St, East London E11 1QF on 05/10/2025, where the Event will take place.

• The license can be revoked at our sole discretion without compensation. Entry may be refused if deemed necessary.

• You are responsible for your ticket once received. We are not liable if your ticket is lost, stolen, damaged, or rendered unusable.

• Tickets are only available through our platform: The Modern Electrologist Co. Tickets obtained elsewhere may be invalid.

• Tickets may not be resold, copied, or used for promotional purposes without prior written approval from The Modern Electrologist Co.

Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling

• All ticket sales are final – no exchanges, returns, or cancellations are permitted.

• Once the Event begins (with the start of the workshop between 12–1pm), no refunds will be offered.

• If the Event is cancelled in its entirety, The Modern Electrologist Co reserves the right to:
  i) reschedule the Event,
  ii) issue a partial or full refund, or
  iii) provide an alternative arrangement.

• If cancellation or rescheduling occurs due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, strikes, venue closure, public health orders), we will not be liable for any costs beyond the ticket face value.

Attendee Responsibilities

• This is a professional event. Attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow participants, organisers, and staff.

• The Event is open to participants aged 18 and over. Proof of age may be required on entry.

• You must bring your ticket and a valid form of identification (ID) to enter the venue.

• You consent to The Modern Electrologist Co collecting necessary personal information (e.g. name, contact details) for event management purposes.

Liability & Conduct

• The Modern Electrologist Co is not responsible for personal injury, financial loss, or property loss/damage at the Event.

• We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unlawful substances, disruptive behaviour, or conduct deemed inappropriate. Breaches may result in removal without refund.

• Non-Solicitation Clause 

  Attendees may not at any time during the Event or for a period of 3 months following the Event approach, deal directly with, engage or solicit any of the other attendees for the purpose of promoting their own mentoring and educational services in competition with our own.

Final Notes

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions. In case of disputes, The Modern Electrologist Co will be the final arbiter.
